I need help. I have a Netgear DG834GT ADSL Modem/Router and a Netgear WG311T
wireless PCI adaptor on my computer. Since updating to Windows Vista Home Premium it takes about 3-4 minutes to connect to the network and then another 5-10 minutes to connect to the internet with occasional internet drop outs. I have updated my modem with the latest firmware and I have installed the latest Vista drivers for my PCI adaptor but still no change. It has become very frustrating waiting for a connection. I never had this problem with Windows XP pro SP2. All drivers are working well with no conflicts and computer has perfect line of site with wireless modem and well within range (3 metres). I have since uninstalled Windows Vista and have gone back to Windows XP and the problem has gone away, but I want to run Vista again if I can resolve the problem. Can you please help? Regards, John. |
