Vista 64 Bit and DRAM Frequency Settings
OK so I've only been able to run Vista 64 when setting my DRAM Frequency to 200MHZ on 'this' (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...x/IMG00048.jpg) page. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...x/IMG00048.jpg . If I set it to Auto I get an immediate bluescreen right before the welcome screen. But for some reason this only stalls the bluescreen for about an hour. I have a 600W power supply. System Specs: 'Kingston 1GB 533Mhz ram' (http://www.nextag.com/Kingston-1GB-K...94/prices-html) 'Maxtor 80Gb Hard drive (4R080LO)' (http://tinyurl.com/2nb4qz) 'Intel Dual Core 3.0 GHZ' (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116238) 'PC Chips P23G MOBO' (http://tinyurl.com/3bzdu9) with 'new BIOS updates' (http://tinyurl.com/2lzqyg) '512 Mb ATI Radeon 1650 Pro AGP' (http://tinyurl.com/32nl3w) with 'new Vista drivers' (http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/v...n-vista32.html) on CD (which I always remove during instillation) -- dannymichel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dannymichel's Profile: http://www.vista64.net/forums/member.php?userid=1967 View this thread: http://www.vista64.net/forums/showthread.php?t=55873 |
