I called Geeks On Call to set up a Vista home network and was informed that I
need either the Home Ultimate or Business edition of Vista. Is there any accuracy to this? Doug |

No. All editions of Vista can be used in a home network. There is certain
advanced functionality that is present in Business and Ultimate. -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included. Thanks Jane. At high level, what is the functionality? Does Home Premium
have all the key components for a quality home network? "Jane C" wrote: No. All editions of Vista can be used in a home network. Hi Keith. Geeks On Call probably didn't understand that you were setting up
a home network. Domain networks aren't supported in some of the home versions, but that shouldn't have any effect on you.
