Default After ALL my netwroking prblems Vista Premium XP Pro machine...

....it was as simple as Firewall setting in OneCare being adjusted to allow
for file/print sharing.

1 second job, all fixed.

I feel like a knob! And thanks to all here that assisted!!!

You may want to help yourself more by uninstalling One Care..

Firewall configuration issues seem to be the biggest, IMHO, obstacle when it
comes to File & Print Sharing problems. Thanks for the feedback...

I dont think so...I PAID for it, I'm gonna use it and see if it's any good!!
So far, it seems ok!

When I HAD Grisoft's free AVG, I had...some...let's say...stability issues
which cleared as soon as I unistalled it and loaded up OneCare.

As a matter of interest, why you apparently no like OneCare?

The present version of AVG is fine, and there are other products out there;
Avast, NOD32, Kapersky..

Incidentally, One Care came in last place re virus detection.. just FYI..
