Hi there, I just set up new home network, everything works fine except one thing: filesharing. I know that there is a problem when trying to connect from XP to Vista, I read thousands of threads about it, but I have *other problem*: I have a laptop running on WV (not Volkswagen but Windows Vista) and a PC running on Windows XP Pro. They're both in same workgroup and can see each other, so far so good. I can access shared XP HDD drive from Vista and even can browse it (like watch pics etc.), however when I try to copy a file from XP to Vista (remember, accessing the drive from Vista laptop), it transfers, but after finishing error dialogue appears, tells me that I don't have the rights to do that and gives me two choices - repeat (probably in case I would get the rights) or cancel. After canceling the file disappears and so I can't transfer any single file.Of course I'm logged in as administrator, but did not see anything like "Copy as administrator" I browsed for quite a while and did not find anyone with same problem, does anyone know anything about it? Thanks in advance! -- Maldazaar |
