I'm running Vista Home Premium on a new Vaio AR320E.
When I return to Vista from my screensaver (its password protected) my wireless connection turns off for a second, then back on. All apps that were using the connection are affected. My screen also flickers once briefly right before this happens. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing or is this a known issue? |

Check the advanced settings for the power profile you are running with. You
may have it set to allow it to power down the nic. Joe "Dickson in Maryland" Dickson in wrote in message ... I'm running Vista Home Premium on a new Vaio AR320E. Yeah, what's wild is that the adapter still has power while the screensaver
is on, its just when it resumes (after about 4 seconds) it clicks off then on again. And I haven't noticed anything in the power profiles (I've looked all over for something that would explain this) BDD "Joe Guidera" wrote: Check the advanced settings for the power profile you are running with.
