Well this really blows, I guess I will use my technet version until MS gets
this worked out. "Brian" wrote: After installing Vista my fax function has stopped working. I have tried to find the solution and one was to click on all programs and go to "windows scan and fax". The problem with that is that on my computer there is no Windows scan and fax function. Any suggestions on how to find the windows scan and fax function? |

As for me I am just so gutted, after a complete rebuild of my computer to use
Vista Home premium and loose many of the advantages of XP Pro is such a dissopointment. I miss my scanning of all my mail and storing it on HD nice and tidy. I SAY BRING BACK THE MIGHTY AMIGA |

All the major scanner makers have Vista drivers now I believe. I have an
Epson and they had it up on the website within a few months. I've got Vista Prem doin' stuf I could never manage all at once with Xp. I wonder what he is using a fax to do when scanners and email are way more economical. Amiga's running lights on a boat? big deal. Atari ST lead the MIDI revolution lol |

Unfortunately for us por users, Microsoft has decided to eliminate the basic
fax program from Vista. You can get it by upgrading to Vista Ultimate. Upgrading to Vista results in extra income for Microsoft for all of us dummies who thought Vista would be better. Think again.
