I am trying to move a picture from the picture folder to the public folder
but no matter how I try to do it - drag and drop, copy and paste, I just get the error message 'Destination Folder Access Denied - You need permission to perform this action - Public Pictures' then Try Again which just get s the same error message. My account is set up as administrator. Regards Lynette |

Hi LindAnn, thanks for the reply.
I did check there is no security. I cannot move anything at all to the public folders, documents, pictures it just comes up with the message 'destination folder access denied'. I can copy things (sample pictures) from the public directory to other places. Have you checked the security on the public folder, in case any thing has
been changed. You will need to do this through computer, then migrate to public folder, Admin should have a tick in all allowed apart from special permission, leave that un-checked. There should be no denies. Linda "Dreamweaver" wrote: Hi LindAnn, thanks for the reply. I did check there is no security. It's ok I've sorted it out. It's my own fault! While looking at the 'tree' in
explorer, underneath the computer name are folders Public, Users and Printers and I was trying to access the Public folder there instead of under Users where it works with no problem of course. Thank you for trying to help me. "LindaAnn" wrote: Have you checked the security on the public folder, in case any thing has been changed.
