Hi everyone, i used to have XP on my computer but today i updated to vista.
PI have a dell inspiron notebook. It had wireless connection built inside it, and wireless internet worked fine with xp. Now, with vista, there isnt even that little icon showing my bars of connectivity or the wireless radio tower in the system tray, only the icons for local area connections. I do not know what my driver is because when i bought my computer with XP, it just came working. How can i install my wireless modem and get thoes icons back in the system tray. if you didnt understand this post please ask me questions so i can make it clear. please help, -ajp |

You didn't say which Inspiron you have so there isn't much anyone can do in
the way of help. Have you checked the Dell Support site? I'm running an Inspiron 9300 and if memory serves me correctly all the Vista drivers that I needed were there except for bluetooth. I used the bluetooth driver for the 9400 and it worked (same hardware). -------------------- Things are the way they are because they got that way. "ajp" wrote in message ...
