Default Remote Desktop TO Windows XP Professional FROM Windows Vista

I am wanted to purchase a new computer with Windows Vista and wanted
to know if i could remote desktop to my work machine which runs
Windows XP Pro. some people are telling me I can, others are saying I
can't. Has anyone done this????

Yes you can. Just make sure you configure the Vista RDP client as
illustrated...

Remote Desktop Connectivity is a feature of Vista Business and Ultimate.

If you have connected to work before using RDP, it should work under Vista.
Some companies require that you connect to their intranet or firewall with a
VPN or SSL network connection first.

No... The Remote Desktop client is built-in to all versions of Vista...

Don't forget that Vista Enterprise can also act as a Remote Desktop host...

All versions of Vista can act as a Remote Desktop client...
