My home network consists of 3 pc's, 2 using 2k Pro and a new pc using Vista
Ultimate. All using manual IP's connected to a 4 Origio port router. I have gone though the replies to other queries for win2k here and can now Access my shared drives on my vista pc from my other 2 but still not access those 2 from my vista PC. changes made Netbios allowed over tcp-ip in 2k Pro networking and my firewall on each pc My Vista IP added to trusted in each 2k Pro's firewall All pc's have a Admin user with same name etc Network sharing center: Network set to Private // Network discovery on // filesharing on // Public sharing with PW required I have tested with both Vista and other pc's firewalls off and still cant see my other pc's Anything I've missed? |

Ok odd behaviour guess too used to win2k networks being almost instantanious,
after having my pc's on for a hour or more today I can finally See and use the shared folders From my Vista PC and having made no changes to any settings. Hmm legacy network support has got to be improved |
