Hello,
I have a Vista and a XP laptop that connects wireless through a router to the internet (internet connection works fine)! With XP on both of them everything is OK! With Vista... well, this is another story! The router has DHCP server enabled! All the firewalls are closed! Both are on the same workgroup! The XP has the LLTD installed! On Vista I made the following settings: Set Network: Private Password Protected Sharing: off (everyone and/or guest used); The rest of the sharing options are ON. From XP to Vista it works fine. When I try to access the XP from Vista I can see the shared folders (all of them), I can access only SOME of them and I can copy only SOME of the shared files! The sharing options on XP are modified to allow acces and also to modify the files! I also cannot play anymore games on LAN! What is the problem? There is no pattern that for example I can copy mp3's and no other type of files! I've read all the polls related to this and tried the solutions but the result is the same! Plase advice, Constantin |
