Can this system be changed back to the XP style? The current "Calculating
Time Remaining" is uneccessary and slows the whole process up, something I do very frequently, I'd rather it just copied the file/s instead of telling me how long it will take, as it's never overly accurate anyway. I can sit on my PC copying a 500MB file and it sits for around a minute "Calculating Time" then it starts the process, on XP it calculated on the fly and though less accurate, was much quicker, as it started straight away. I know I'm bot the first to post on this. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. This same thing happened to me. I called tech support. He said this was a
virus that caused this problem because if you reboot in safe-mode and try to move-delete-add a file it doesn't do it. So I would recommend trying to get rid of the virus (name unknown) or as I did completely re-install Vista. Mine works good as new and fast now. Good luck!
