Default Sync with Outlook 2003 & Vista

I am trying to sync using Vista's (Home Premium) installed sync software to
sync with my Ipaq 1940. I have installed and re-installed the software from
MS site (the former version of activesync is apparently not compatible with
Vista) and now get a msg saying that I can view the ipaq; but it doesn't sync
with Outlook 2003 now. Can anyone resolve this issue for me?
