Every time I make a wireless connection, Vista creates a second to the
same access point. It has the same IPv4 and IPv6 addresses but one always says unidentified network and the other will always show the real SSID. The unidentified connection also always stays 'public' even if I change it to private, it will go right back. this happens every time and it is over many different wireless networks. If I disconnect either of them, they both go away and it happens whether I connect manually or automatically. I have tried turning off the 'a' radio on my network and on my card and just using b/g. I have even tried just b and just g. This is a pavilion dv9260nr with a built in Intel 3945 ABG. Anyone have any ideas or seen this? Thanks |
