Hi MS Crew,
I'm using Vista ultimate, and when it comes to internet connecting, I just need to use a ethernet cable connected from my PC straight into an Eternet port and than converted to Fibre Optic (complicated but.. www.penangfon.com how it works) I've never had an issue with this when it comes to XP, as it detects given IP automatically, however for VISTA, i'm having issues, i disabled the TCPV6 thing, + even used the command netsh to disable the autotuning incase it couldn't detect, however same results, i'm unable to connect to the internet succesfully, Even if i did use a given dns or ip, same results. chris |
