Default Problem with VPN

Hi,

I have Vista Ultimate. When I connect to my VPN it connects successfully,
but the PPP interface is missing information. For example, the
"Connection-specific DNS Suffix", "Default Gateway", "Primary WINS Server",
and the "Seconday WINS Server". The value of "NetBIOS over Tcpip" is
Enabled. Because the WINS server information is missing the machine can't
resolve NetBIOS names. When I connect to the same VPN with an XP Pro
machine configured identically, the information is there and everything
works.

Anyone have any ideas? I've search around some and can't find any answers
about this.

Thanks
Steven

Posting the result of the ipconfig /all may help us to understand the
situation.

Default Problem with VPN

I believe this is correct. Looking at your address all traffic will be
passed via the PPP connection. I also believe there is a known issue with
passing netbios traffic over WLAN PPP connections that is due to be
addressed on or before SP1.
