Hello,
I'm trying to connect Vista x32 Ultimate to a windows 2003 server. This is the error I get: The following error has occurred attempting to join domain "home": An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify the client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain ------ I'm able to connect XP machines.... Just not vista, any suggestions/ |

Any errors if you use nslookup command in the Vista?

I'm trying to set this up in an Intranet environment... Last time (during
beta phase) I had to edit the hosts file.... I did that and still can not connect to the dartingaround.com domain "Robert L (MS-MVP)" wrote in message ... Make sure you have the necessary services running.

I have been able to connect all the computers to the domain except for Vista
