Default Problem Connecting Vista Ultimate to server 2003

Hello,

I'm trying to connect Vista x32 Ultimate to a windows 2003 server. This is
the error I get:

The following error has occurred attempting to join domain "home":

An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has
failed. Please verify the client is configured to reach a DNS server that
can resolve DNS names in the target domain

------

I'm able to connect XP machines.... Just not vista, any suggestions/

I'm trying to set this up in an Intranet environment... Last time (during
beta phase) I had to edit the hosts file.... I did that and still can not
connect to the dartingaround.com domain

Make sure you have the necessary services running.

I have been able to connect all the computers to the domain except for Vista
machines!

I'm completely lost now!
