Noise (popping) Using Media Center's CD Playback
I have transferred my CD collection onto my CD. I have noticed an annoying
popping noise and garbled when playing the music within VISTA (Media Center). If I playback using Windows Media Player outside of MC, same music file no issues and it sounds great. What's the difference between these programs? I later found that if I have the Media Center open and playing back using the Windows Media Player (ver 11), the pop starts again. I then watched a DVD using the Media Center and the sound was fine. Then I popped in a CD to play from my CD drive with Media Center open. It again was garbled. Afterwards, it just "cleaned up". Then started working okay. I re-started and it was garbled then again "cleaned up" in Media Center. Any idea why this is happening? |
