Problem: Two locations, both Static IP. One laptop.
Question: How can I create a network profile so the user can switch connections? In other words, is it possible to have two different network settings via the same LAN device so the user can switch to the one the location requires? I'd prefer not to change the server to DHCP, it would make it easier, but that could reset the whole system and cause problems. |

This is not a Vista solution. It cost $20. Something Vista should do on
it's own. Desite that, Vista isn't listed as a supported OS, so purchasing this wouldn't be a wise decision. Any other ideas? "Sooner Al [MVP]" wrote: "Matt" wrote in message ... Is this a solution. Simple VB script icon on the desktop? If so, anyone know
the code I would use to set the IP and Gateway? "Sooner Al [MVP]" wrote: "Matt" wrote in message ... Problem: Two locations, both Static IP. One laptop. Have a look at Easy Net Switch. http://www.easynetswitch.com It works under Vista and not even triger UAC dialog. BR//Eric |
