Windows Photo Gallery does not show my installed printer (HP 2600n - home
network) only the Microsoftt XPS writer. Yet all other MS and other programs
show the printer when I go to print (Even the Help Menu print in Windows
Photo Gallery. If I go to use the Install Printer option in Windows Photo
Gallery I can not find the printer when I browse for a network printer only
the other two connected to another computer.

I have the same problem and found another poster with identical problem.
I've reinstalled printer numerous times from CD and from within WPG,
downloaded Vista printer driver for HP2600n from HP website. Nothing works.
Printer works fine with all other applications, just not Windows Photo
Gallery. Reply if you found a resolution.

Still no solultion, But thanks for the reply. At least there are three of us.
That's good to know as it is not a single isolated problem. If I do figure it
out I will let you know. For now, I use Adobe Photo Elements 5.0., I want to
know more the challenge than anything else at this point.

Found out how to fix this!!! Setup your 2600n network printer up to
your computer with a USB (don't unhook the ethernet cable), let Vista
install the printer as a 2nd with the USB port. Windows photo will now
see both the USB and the Network printer. You can remove the USB cable
(I would not remove the driver, not sure if that will mess things up or
not), Photo Gallery will still see your network printer..
