WMDC not recognising Dopod D810
Hi,
Have followed a lot of the posts here and tried the suggestions provided but to no avail. My problem is as follows: I have a Dopod D810 from 3 Australia, and connecting it to my PC (with Windows Vista Home Premium and updated) it provides the Bing-bing connection sound, shows a connection (linked computers) on the PDA screen. On the PC, in WMDC, all I see is the Mobile Device Settings box, and under that I see Connection Settings which in turn says 'Device connected'. There is no file manager, snyc options or anything else. The WMDC screen shows 'Not Connected'. I cannot create a sync partnership as there appears to be nothing to sync to! I am using WDMC 6.0.6783, have uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. In the Device Manager it shows the HTC USB Sync under Mobile Devices. When USB cable connection is made I can install programs to device no problems. Any assistance would be greatfully appreciated. -- Cheers Abes |
