I have one of the aforementioned multi-function units running on Windows XP
with no problems. Unfortunately, the same levels of support do not exist in Vista. Currently, HP only supplies printer drivers (and then only PCL5 or PCL6) and ignores the scanner and fax capabilities. According to an email I received from HP technical support, the fully featured drivers for Vista will be available at the end of July 2007. Let's hope. Also, I've found that the XP PostScript driver works in Vista with no problems. -- Paul |
