Default MS DTC console

I had a major problem with my installation of Vista Ultimate 64 and had to
use my Windows Image backup to reinstall.

Since then I occasionally get an error box saying MS DTCconsole has failed,
look for a solution or close the program. Needless to say a solution is
never found and I close the program.

Does anyone know what it is and what the solution could be?

Thanks

Andy

Thats the 'Distributed Transaction Coordinator'
if you are on a stand alone computer you can disable that and
'Distributed Link Tracking Client'
services with no ill effects. If you are on a server you need to find
out why that is happening...I have no help for you there.
