cd/dvd drive doesnt always read disc (pioneer)
i am using a pioneer drive with windows vista. if i load a disc just after
start up it will work, but once i take it out the drive is unable to load another disc (even the same one again). Windows will hang if i try to shut it down with a disc in the drive and i have to take the disc out and it will turn off right away. if i turn off the computer off for about ten minutes it will read a disc again when i turn it on. But if i try to start it up with a new disc in before ten minutes it will hang before the logon screen and i must remove the disc for startup to continue. i have tried uninstalling the driver and scanning for new hardware and i still have the same problem. |
