Just added a Vista computer to my network. When I go into the Network, my
other computer (running XP) shows up as a Media Player. I can't seem to change the properties so it gets recognized correctly. Any ideas? |

I'm having the same problem, the windows media player appears to be a
networked computer...both of my EP machines are showing up like that and I cannot figure it out. I've been fighting this probem for 2 weeks now. I've tried everthing, I even installed the LLTD protocol on one of the XPs, and that didn't help either. I think it might have something to do with Internet protocol 6 (IPv6) but I don't think I understand enough about it and what it does to change anything. I searched everywhere to try to find help and you are the first person I've heard of with the same problem. "David Lindop" wrote: Just added a Vista computer to my network.
