Default Linksys Wireless Adapter WUSB54GC

My Linksys wirelesss adaper WUSB54GC is running with the XP driver that came
with it.

When I download and install from Linksys the Vista driver, the adapter does
not stay connected (it disconnects on and off.....). So I reversed the
driver back to the XP.

Is there any issues running the XP driver?

Thanks,
mac

Mac,

If your have no issues, then it's working. Don't fix what's not broken.

are you using a 32bit vista os? Becuase im trying to get my WUSB54GC to
work with a 64bit system but i cant even install any drivers at all. It
just says windows doesnt recognize them. hopefully i dont have to buy a
new adapter...or is there a way to go from a 64bit to a 32bit somehow?

Last time I talked to Linksys they told me that they do not support ANY 64
bit OS.
went with D-link, just check on their website to make sure that the adapter
has 64 bit drivers avalable.
