Or do i have to enable ICS on the wireless connection? any ideas would be helpful I'd look at "ipconfig /all" from both computers. For ICS to work, the WiFi connection on the desktop computer should have an IP address of 192.168.0.1, and the laptop should have another address on 192.168.0/24. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/reading-ipconfig-and-diagnosing.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...iagnosing.html Enabling ICS should have included identifying the Tiscali connection as the service connection, and the WiFi connection as the sharing connection. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/07/connecting-two-computers-with.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...ters-with.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
