Default adhoc and ics

i have a wireless adhoc computer to computer set up. my desktop pc has vista
premuim home and my laptop has xp. The network is working and i can share
files no problems.

However when trying to use ics so my laptop can connect to the internet it
isnt working. I have ics enabled on my tiscali connection but it only lists
lan connections not wireless connections. am i doing something wrong. Or do
i have to enable ICS on the wireless connection?

any ideas would be helpful

I'd look at "ipconfig /all" from both computers. For ICS to work, the WiFi
connection on the desktop computer should have an IP address of 192.168.0.1, and
the laptop should have another address on 192.168.0/24.

Enabling ICS should have included identifying the Tiscali connection as the
service connection, and the WiFi connection as the sharing connection.
