Vista Home Basic
Here is my problem. I recently aquired a second laptop with Vista Home
Basic installed. The other laptop has Vista Home Premium installed and is sharing a printer that is connected to my Desktop that has Windows XP installed. I cannot get the laptop with Home Basic to network with the XP. XP does not show in Network Sharing, on the Home Basic, however, the XP appears on the Full Map in Network Sharing but cannot be access. Any suggestions as to why Home Basic will not share my printer? Thanks CJ

Chuck thanks so much for your reply. It was the Personal Firewall in Norton
that had to be changed. The other laptop has McAfee installed and no adjustments were made in order to share my printer, obviously the default settings are different.
