I have just added a Vista laptop to my network. Three other computers on
the network use XP. Have changed the workgroup name and downloaded the protocol for the XP computers. The XP computers see the Vista computer in the network places. The Vista computer sees the XP computers when I "view full map" in the network and sharing center. The problem is that when I try to click on the other computers on the map nothing happens. Also when I try to map a network drive on the Vista machine, the only computer visible is the Vista computer. Essentially, though I can see all the computers, I cannot share anything. I have turned off password protected sharing. What next? |
