I have a HP Deskjet 930c connected to my desktop running XP. It and my laptop
running Vista ultimate are connected by wireless LAN. I have a secure 128 bit encryption set up and I can see the pinter and shared folders on my desktop from my laptop. I can select, view properties and "connect" to the shared printer from my laptop. All my connection settings in "sharing and discovery" are on. When I try to print I get no error messages and from my laptop the document would appear to have printed. Nothing however comes out of the printer. When I send a document the leds flash on the router and the desktop detects traffic. Zone alarm on the desktop does not block or deny access, as the laptop's ip address is in the trusted zone. All seems to be working, I get no error messages but nothing comes out of the printer from the laptop. I can print from the desktop as normal Any help gratefully recieved |
