Default Printer Sharing

We have a Samsung laser printer/fax attached to our server which is
shared by all users on the network.
When I try to install this printer on a new computer with Vista, a dialog
windowdisplays a message 'Not enough memory to install this printer'. There
is plenty of memory and no other programs were open at the time.
How can I overcome this erronous mesage and install the shared printer. The
printer is not networkable (direct to router)

had same trouble though samsung site said the laser model was already vista
compatible.

i created a new printer while computer drectly connected to the printer, then computer
was returned to seeing the printer thru the lan. then i was able to create a network
printer (got past that memory message). but the vista computer wasn't able to print
unless reconnected directly to the printer. so i gave up at that time.

i searched again last week, and found a vista driver dated from january 2007.

after installing it, we can print from the vista computer.
