can't install printer
Managed to install a network printer (attached to and shared by a XP machine)
on two Vista (Ultimate) machines, but on the third, I get an error message when trying to connect to the printer "print monitor not recognised". It's an Epson Stylus Photo R300 btw. Thanks, |

Check,
These situations can be tricky. You seem to know a lot about it, having succeeded in connecting a networked printer on two machines. It's sometimes something simple that was overlooked. Take a look at the discussion on the following site to see whether it breaks something loose in the memory area, (just something I found): http://forums.vnunet.com/thread.jspa?messageID=783585 Every little bit of information can help. Let us know what happened. -- freddy "check" wrote: Managed to install a network printer (attached to and shared by a XP machine) on two Vista (Ultimate) machines, but on the third, I get an error message when trying to connect to the printer "print monitor not recognised".
