Default can't install printer

Managed to install a network printer (attached to and shared by a XP machine)
on two Vista (Ultimate) machines, but on the third, I get an error message
when trying to connect to the printer "print monitor not recognised". It's
an Epson Stylus Photo R300 btw.

Thanks,

Check,

These situations can be tricky. You seem to know a lot about it, having
succeeded in connecting a networked printer on two machines. It's sometimes
something simple that was overlooked. Take a look at the discussion on the
following site to see whether it breaks something loose in the memory area,
(just something I found):

Every little bit of information can help. Let us know what happened.
