A very good network monitoring tool - NetMeter - has been updated to work
with Vista. It keeps daily, weekly and monthly download/upload logs. It also shows cumulative download/upload data from the install date of NetMeter. This reference point can be reset at your discretion. I reset the data on Jan 1st of each year to see what I have done for the year. It is also a good reference to see if you computer is spewing out hundreds of megs of data daily, a sure sign that you are compromised, infected or owned by others. It is free, and you can download it from http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/ -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew as much as you think you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew! |
