I have a new computer, HP Pavilion MediaCenter TV PC, with
Windows Vista Home Premium When I try to download updates from hp.com update site, I can't download nothing. All I get is a page that said, Page Cannot Be Displayed. Checke your internet connection. My internet connecct is fine. I can dowload fron any other site except HP. I talked to my IP and he tried difference setting with firewall and had me check other settings. He couldn't help. I called HP Support was on the phone with them for hours. They didn't help. All hp support did was foulu my computer so I had to go into a full recovery. Checked with help and support person from Norton Security center, It has nothing to do with Norton. I talked to a friend of mine who asked friend of his about this problem. He said their is a setting you have to chage or make, but he couldn't remenber what it is. My last computer I had the same problem, but it was just changing a setting on firewall, then it was fine. -- Love For All |

I would love an answer to this, as I'm having the same problem, same error.
I can't download anything from hp and I also can't download most recent version of itunes. It just makes me sick, because hp has no solution. They had me turn off all my firewalls, and still nothing. I have no problem downloading Microsoft updates. I appreciate the reply, but that's a little beyond my expertise. Are there
any other possible reasons for this? If not, I'll take it and head the eperts in that direction. Thanks again!
