Using WV, on my desktop, with IE7 downloads appear to download then they just
disapear both on the run command and the save command. Using XP on my laptop with IE7 downloads are no problem. Therefore, Vista seems to be the problem. Any help out there? |

Vista has more restrictions as far as permissions go.
I have a directory I created in C:\DL that I use for all of my downloads. Have you tried to create a directory to save to? What directory have you tried to save the files to? As a test, can you go to that directory and create a new file there (right-click - New- Text Document)? "JimChan52" wrote in message ... Sorry to take so long getting back... thanks for the effort Dave, but no
dice. I have "download" folders I used with XP and at your suggestion, created another to try.... still does not work. I think I'm about ready to return to XP "Dave" wrote: Vista has more restrictions as far as permissions go. I have a directory I created in C:\DL that I use for all of my downloads.
