Default Wireless Internet Not Visible

Hi,
My roommate just got a new HP with Vista on it and I can't get it to connect
to our wireless internet. It doesn't even see the network! On my HP with XP I
can see at least three wireless internet connections from inside our house.
Hers doesn't acknowledge that any of them exist.
I've set up three computers on this network before and we've not had any
problems. We have a D-Link DI 524 wireless router. I've called a techi and he
had no suggestions either.
Can anyone help me before I start banging my head into the wall!

Have you loaded the latest driver for the wireless? This search result may help too.

In addition to insuring you have the latest wireless driver, please
post which hardware version of the DI-524 and check that you have
the most current firmware for it?
