Default Exchange Server 2003 & Windows Vista

I work at a technical college and we are using Exchange Server 2003 for
student email accounts. Now we have some students coming in with new laptops
so when they try to sign into theirr Exchange OWA access when they open
messages in Vista or Internet Explorer 7 the messages are blank and images
are not displayed in email messages.

Is Exchange Server 2003 compatible with Windows Vista? Is there something
that needs to be installed on Exchange 2003 that will allow Vista desktops
and laptops to read email messages?

The Exchange Server needs a patch for Vista compatibility:
