I am trying to find out how to make a folder shortcut in either mycomputer
or my network places. A way to go into the web folder and view the files in there. I did this ounce before but can't figure out how to do it again. Thanks Chuck |

Hi Chuck,
Are you trying to create a shortcut to a url or a location on a network? If so, you can do this by following these steps: 1. Click the Start button, and then click Computer. 2. Right-click anywhere in the folder, and then click Add a Network Location. 3. Click Next. 4. Click Choose a custom network location, and then click Next. 5. Follow the steps in the wizard. I hope this helps. Charlene -- Charlene Shepard Windows User Assistance Team Microsoft Corporation "Chuck" wrote in message ... I did that already, it says that the folder ins't valid and then stops. I am
trying to get a shortcut to a website on my network. I had them before, but now it doesn't work. So not sure whats up. I can get into it through Web Expressions, so not sure.
