I have a new Vista home premium HP laptop and a Sprint wireless internet card
so I have access anywhere in the U.S. I want to be able to access my home computers files from my laptop. What is the best way to go about this? |

There are various ways of doing that. You can try using third party programs
(such as hamachi, http://hamachi.cc) that configures a virtual private network between your home computers and your laptop. Once connected to the virtual network and with proper shares configuration, you can access the files like you do in a typical network.
