Default Access home computer from wireless laptop through WAN card

I have a new Vista home premium HP laptop and a Sprint wireless internet card
so I have access anywhere in the U.S. I want to be able to access my home
computers files from my laptop. What is the best way to go about this?

There are various ways of doing that. You can try using third party programs
(such as hamachi, http://hamachi.cc) that configures a virtual private
network between your home computers and your laptop. Once connected to the
virtual network and with proper shares configuration, you can access the
files like you do in a typical network.
