I have the very same problem. I can't empty my deleted items folder. I have
lots of supposedly DELETED messages I cannot get rid of. this is the 4th time
this has happened since I got my new computer with VISTA + Windows Mail.
Come on Microsoft - get your act together and sort this problem, PLEASE.

Here is the Microsoft fix:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/941090/en-us

The KB article says Outbox, but the fix works for other Windows Mail folders
too.
