Default How do you create a shortcut for your Internet connection?

Could anyone tell me how I would go about creating a shortcut to my Internet
connection on my desktop? It doesn't appear to be as obvious as it was in
Windows XP. Thanks!

From the Control Panel go to Network and Sharing Centre.
Click on Manage Network Connections
Right click the appropriate connection.
Select Create Shortcut - choose desktop.

You could also go to Start button, right click, go to properties, select
classic start menu, and it will give you all the icons that XP provided.
