None of the "Home" versions of either XP or Vista have ever been able to join a domain. As you see, Home can use domain resources by entering a domain username and password, but it can't cache (keep) that information. You should have purchased Vista Business or Vista Ultimate if you need this machine to be a domain member. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!"
