running Vista. My laptop (Dell Inspiron 600M) is linked wirelessly to an
Actiontec router. The PC HP Pavilon a450n) was upgraded to accommodate Vista.
The Verizon techs say that they are ready to release a tweek program for
Vista but not for another two or three weeks. Fortunately I do get an
internet connection with the pc, although running very slowly. I can't
believe that Vista will not run on a FIOS connection. There must be some work
around for this problem, but my computer skills are much too puny to address
this issue.


Try a more relevant newsgroup (or perhaps even an HP support forum)?
