Default Cannot Read from the Source File or Disk

Using Windows Vista, when I try to copy a file from a CD to my hard drive, I
get the following error message:

"Cannot Read from the Source File or Disk"

I can copy the same file on another computer with XP.

Thanks for any help with this problem.

Not all CD and DVD drives can read all CD and DVD's. The problem
is a tolerance setting that is not user adjustable. So it is not unusual for
a CD to be read by one computer and not by another. The best bet you
can try is an undated driver for your CD/DVD drive. Or replace the
drive and hopefully get one more within tolerance.
