Using Windows Vista, when I try to copy a file from a CD to my hard drive, I
get the following error message: "Cannot Read from the Source File or Disk" I can copy the same file on another computer with XP. Thanks for any help with this problem. |

Not all CD and DVD drives can read all CD and DVD's. The problem
is a tolerance setting that is not user adjustable. So it is not unusual for a CD to be read by one computer and not by another. The best bet you can try is an undated driver for your CD/DVD drive. Or replace the drive and hopefully get one more within tolerance. wrote in message ...
