Default Problem in IP configuration

Whenever I try to download the connectivity client of my ISP, it gives me
message " we have diagnosed that you have configured your gateway in
multiple LAN cards in your network settings. Kindly reconfigure the
settings." I want to understand what this means and how to reconfigure the
gateway.
