Vista and HP Solutions Center Software
Anter installing my HP officejet 5610v and software I receive a parsing error
when opening HP Solutions Center and am unable to open HP Photosmart Essential. HP tech support has so far after 5 attempts been unable to find a solution to this problem. Can anyone offer a solution. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times, used the Microsoft and HP clean up utilities, all to no avail. -- ChipsForFun

I'm not sure what exactly a parsing error is, but Vista has a procedure for recording errors in a report. Look at the report for information that may lead to a solution: Start Maintenance Problem Reports and Solutions. Peruse the report for some information about what is causing the error. Focus on any steps suggested for resolving it. Post back on what you find. In there is a series of batch files, run the one called Uninstall_L4. Follow the prompts, then download and install the vista version of the driver. If you do not have the CD, download the latest driver package, then use Winrar to unpack it, then navigate to the Util\ccc folder. -- AbnRanger Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com
