how it connects its wired section to its wireless section. i cannot connect to the routers ip of 192.168.2.1 wirelessly, but can connect to it when wired. mmm got me thinking. the other was guest access, which allows internet access only. i was using the guest access key and not the full access key. punched in the new key everything worked straight away. thanks for your input though. cheers steve "steve lawrence" wrote: tried this already, i think it might have something to do with the router and how it connects its wired section to its wireless section. i cannot connect to the routers ip of 192.168.2.1 wirelessly, but can connect to it when wired. mmm got me thinking.
