Default upgrade to vista-business from windows xp professional sp-2

I have tried to upgrade my system twice with vista and both times it shows an
error in the installation and to notify the maker of the computer. I have to
reload windows xp prof. again and again to have a running computer and don't
intend to upgrade to vista until Microsoft does something about making it
accept all kinds of programs and equipment.

Then you will be waiting a lonnnnnnggggg time..!!!It is not nor has it ever
been Microsoft's responsibility to make their software work with someone
else's hardware .....That is it! End of story !!! IF Microsoft chose to do
this you would be waiting 20 or so yrs on a operating system due to the
amount of different hardware combinations out there....Why can people not
understand this ?? By the way if you insist on using or keeping files from
your old system then back them up onto an external drive of some sort,,Then
do a clean install of Vista and re install programs.....CHECK YOUR DRIVER
AVAILABILITY FIRST !!...Do not make the mistake so many make in blaming
Vista because you did not bother to research first !!!...Geez when you buy a
new car would you just go ahead and put diesel in it or check to make sure
it is not gas powered first...Think about it
