Default networking problem with user accounts

I have 2 vista pcs and one xp pc on a network. I see all the networked pcs,
but when I try to open them it asks me for a user account and password. None
of the accounts work. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

With Windows XP as a server, is it running Advanced, or Simple, File Sharing?
If Advanced, is it using Guest or non-Guest access? Is the right account
activated for network access?

With Windows Vista, is Password Protected Sharing On, or Off? PPS On = Advanced
File Sharing. And again, is the right account activated for network access?

Default networking problem with user accounts

I'm having the same problem, except I only have one Vista laptop with two
user accounts.
Admin user = myself, I can use the internet
Guest user = Can not use the internet.
The Password protected sharing = on.
